install SP bi_cont 703

Dear gurus,

I am trying to install support package bi_cont 703.

The download is completed and the corrects files are in the EPS/in directory.

I have loaded the /in folder and can fins the bi_cont 703 in tx: spam.

when i display the new packages, i see SP bi_cont 703, when i check the status of the package it read "prerequisite not met"

i have read through snote 916834 and my finding do not align with the note

any help?

there was an initial error with the installation.

after reinstalling i could apply the content via tx:saint

Its very strange.

i downloaded the bi_cont 703, then reloaded using tx: saint

i only noticed that the patches increase on tx: spam to 16

there is nothing on tx: saint

How do i install business content on bi?

i am sorry but your description is very confusing.

are you able to see BI_CONT installation package in SAINT ? if not check if you downloaded the right component from the marketplace.

if you didnot had any previous installation of BI_CONT then you need to download the installation package.

if you had a previous version of BI_CONT in your system you need to download delta upgrade package.

I don't see anything on on tx: saint.

I downloaded BI CONT 3.53, then SAP NW 7.1 BI CONT ADDON 7.11

and now BI CONT 7.03.

I know am missing something

I found what the problem is the BI cont installed initially was 3.53. it requires and upgrade before the SP can go in.

Hello,

Can you go to SPAM - new support packages - display - expand the tree under BI_CONT 703 and check what are the dependent packages not available in your system. I feel there is (are) some packages on which this new BI SP is dependent.

Make sure you have the dependent SPs in your system.

Can you go to SPAM -

-( below small window )- check - "new support packages" - display

You'll get all the new packages available in your system - expand the tree under BI_CONT 703 and check what are the dependent packages not available in your system.

the ones that are not met will have red cross infront of them.
