Hi All,

Is there any way we can reference multiple Batches to single quality notification?

Is there any other standard enhancement where multiple batch entry can be done!

Thanks in advance!

No. That is not supported by SAP.

The best you can do without development is to create multiple notifications all with reference to the same notification.

I do know people have done this via development. They created a Z table to hold the batch numbers/notification numbers and then did development to include user screens into their notifications.

Hi Firefighter,

Thank you so much for the answer..

Was wondering if something came in EHP4 for fixing this...

Thanks

Yes, it is there in Enh Pack 4.

We are in imple mode of Enh Pack 4 and our client don't want this functionality so I have not tested yet, this function given in Enh Pack 4.

Delivered by Business Function OPS_QM_NOTIFICATION

With the functionality, employees can assign multiple objects of the same type, such as several batches, serial numbers, inspection lots, and so on to one particular notification at the item level.

Customer business challenges:

Today, customers need to create several notifications if they want to record issues or complaints for several objects like a number of defective batches. That leads to great effort in maintaining the data and during evaluation of the information.

Business value:

Reduced number of notifications for recording issues and complaints for several given objects -example: one notification for 10 batches instead of 10 separate notifications.

Reduced effort for maintaining the data.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!!!

Thanks! my current client has 6.0 but not EHP 4.

So I haven't had a chance to work with this yet.

Where does one find this OPS_QM_NOTIFICATION? My client would also be interested in using this.
