Mass Assets Master data changes

Hi All

my users get the request from our client to make the changes in Asset Master data like inventory numbers, asset super number, 2nd description and so on. they get huge request let say 1000 assets need to change with different different 2nd descriptions.

currently they are doing one by one asset master data change using transaction code AS02. is there any way to do multiple assets master data change at a time.

please suggest

Personaly, i'll suggest Using the Asset Mass change via substitution rule/worklist.Its fairly straight forward .

hi

you may create a recording of AS02 using LSMW or ecatt and do a upload of the assets from an excel file.

LSMW recording for the required filelds can be done and accordingly the values should be filled up in the excel sheet.
