SQL server recovery!

Hi All,

We have a WIN-SQL based SAP server (IDES). The OS (windows 2003) on the server got crashed.

We do not have any backup, but we do have datafiles (.mdf & .ndf files)& transaction logs which are stored in someother drive.

Is there any way, we can recover/restore the data from these files, so that we can get the updated status of the system?

Hi Amit

Yes if the .mdf files and .ndf files are available and were backued up when the DB was offline, then u can simply attach these files back to the database

Check sap note 151603,363018,555223 for more informaiton
