Hi,
In present scenario Vendor Quality Evaluation is on the basis of Inspection Lots (i.e. Quantity wise) in our company.
Is it feasible to change it to Value Wise. Let me explain
Suppose we have a Vendor - XYZ supplying 3 different materials.
A - Value Rs 100
B - Value Rs 1000
C - Value Rs 10000
In a month if 1 qty of Material A is rejected then he will get a better score than if 1 qty of Material B is rejected, because of their Values.
Please suggest if its possible or not, and process how it can be done.
Thanks in Advance,
Ritesh.
Anything is possible with vendor evaluation. This is because SAP allows you to create your own FM and apply them as a factor in the vendor evaluation. So you would need to create a new criteria, write your FM to determine the value and then include the new criteria in your vendor evaluation formuala.
