Open TO checking works when do dynamic cycle counting

Dear expert,

My company is implementing dynamic cycle counting with LM59, during the test, I found if there is open TO for the bin, before the TO confirmation, the inventory record is not activated and with status counted. But after the TO confirmation, the inventory record is activated and with status not counted, then we need to have a recount on it.

Our business requirement is that during the dynamic cycle counting, donu2019t check the open TOs for other materials in the bin. Can this be done with standard function?

If not, is there any other solutions? Thanks.

Leo

I think i found the answer.  As long as the book inventory for the count is not changing, SAP will activate and clear the inventory document in WM.  But, if SAP sees an inventory change is necessary, then it will reset the “Counted” status to “Not Counted”, initiate a recount and activate the inventory document which will block further TOs on the bin until complete.  This also depends on how your config is set up for DCC in the IMG.
