SolMan Initial Setup - J2EE Config - Browser is defaulting to wrong dns

We recently updated our 3.2 to 7.0 EHP1. I'm now using the tcode SOLMAN_SETUP to complete the configuration steps.

In the Initial Config portion I have successfully completed the User setup (solman_admin) and the ABAP configuration.

When I select the J2EE configuration the browser seems to be pointing to the shortcut rather then the FQDN. And therefore I'm getting a can't find page, check DNS error.

I have setup in the instance profile the icm\host_name_full and the SAPLOCALHOSTFULL parms both to use the FQDN.

Where might this be picking up the incorrect name? I've verify the parms are active in the profile.

Thanks for your suggestions in advance!

Ended up working with SAP Support to address the issue. Some services not yet published seemed to be the main issue.

Hello Laurie McGinley,

Please check if the FQDN is maintained in the SMSY transaction in the Solution Manager System for the particular java system.
