Register communication channel for monitoring

Hi Experts,

Need a quick help. Please let me know how to add a communication channel to the list of channels under communication channel monitoring in adapter engine in RWB?

Dhawal,

DId you created communication channel in Directory? Does it not showing up in CC monitoring? What you are trying to do , let us know so that it will be easy for us to suggest.

Hi Dhawal,

Adpaters are situated on two Stacks.

1) Java stack (File, RFC,JDBC) etc)

2) ABAP stack (IDoc, XI etc)

In RWB--> Communication channel monitoring.You can see only Java stack adapters. But before displaying it in RWB you need to create the JAVA stack adapters in Directory and activate them.

We do not add the channels in RWB --> CC monitoring....once the channel is activated in ID it should be visible in the list....if the channel is not visible then:

1) Channel is not activated properly in ID ..... check the Cache Status Overview.

2) You cannot see channels with these protocols in RWB --> IDOC, XI, HTTP .....for any version of XI/ PI
