Not able to select printer from the drop-down box of the print pop-up.

Hi all,

I have a unique problem where i cant select the printers that come in the drop-down list during the print pop-up while using the smart form.

As soon as i select a different printer it gets resetted to the default printer.

how can i select a printer other that the default printer while printing ??

Hi Gurmukh,

When you call the function module of the Smartform in your print program, you can set

the parameter USER_SETTINGS of the function module. It must be set to ' '.

When you call the function module of the Smartform, some of the

parameters must be set correctly so that the print doesn't happen

via the user default printer:

- The parameter USER_SETTINGS must be set to ' ' (default is 'X',

so the parameter must be set)

- The parameter OUTPUT_OPTIONS-TDDEST must be set to the correct

output device

Hi,

Is this Frontend printing? Do you use Access Method F ofr your Frontend printer definition in SPAd? If so and if you change it to Access Method G, can you then select the printer in the Windows pop-up?

HI.....

if you trying to print a document...you must enter in the document in change mode.

extras -> output -> header-> edit

there you can change the message type and the printer.
