Mass Update of Internet Mail Address

The format of our company email address will be changing, is it possible to carry out a mass update on the Internet Mail Address field, SMTP_ADDR, we are using 4.6C

I've looked at RSADRCK7 in the dev client and it does update all the user accounts, including system and communication users, is there a way to restrict the update to just dialog accounts?

It is just a thought - If you already have some mail addresses maintained (for the systems and communication user ID's) you can flag the Keep existing addresses Icon in the selection screen and execute. If there are no addresses mentioned, and you dont want to maintain it for the system ID's, try making a multi table join between USR02, USR21 and ADR6, you can then download the system user ID's and manualy delete the e- mail address ( i dont think we would have 1000's of ID as system users)

we did that with a small z-report that changes the mail domain in table adr6.

You can dowload the list of users from USR02 table. Select the Dialog users only and update the corresponding email address in the excel sheet. Create a test script using LSMW and upload the excel sheet.
