Hi all
In DMS, what is Revision Level used for ?
Everyone can give me some example about Revision Level...
I can assign Revision Level to Document and view it in CC15 but I don't know what is it used for ?

After search in Internet and check out in the SAP System I find out that Revision Level is used to show sequence of released Version. Beside that Version is used to show sequence of created Version.
For example:
Have 3 Version:
V0
V1
V2
and sequence of releasing - use Revision Level R0,R1,R2
R0 - V1
R1 - V2
R2 - V0
It means V1 is released first,V2 is then released... Finally V0 is release.
When I view versions of them I know that: V0 is created first, V1 is created later... it's a sequence of creation
And likewise I can see that V1 us released first... by viewing Revision Level... Right ?
Is Revision level only used for that ? Otherwise please give me more detail.
I read the links you all send and I'm still not clearly...
By the way, I can set authorization of Revision Level ? If it's possible, where can I config ?
