I have done GR against Purchase order. Purchase order is having two line items with same material code. For first line item i have cancelled the GR. System has allowed me to cancel GR. My inspection lot is also cancelled . Now i want to cancel GR for second line item also. but the system is giving me error Change the inspection stock in Qm only. What might be the reason?
First check whether you have done GR for second line item and whether inspection lot is generated in QA32.
If the lot is generated then it will be canceled by the same way you have done 1st line Item. Other condition may be somebody might have cleared the lot (Given UD) pertaining to second line item in this case you can't cancel the GR.
Check to see if both materials had their stock posted to QI. It could be that one material had the "post to QI stock" turned off in the material master set up for the 01 inspection type.
