Tranport cFolder Objects

Hi Experts,

I am new for cFolder and I have learnt the cFolder concepts in terms of creation collaborations, folders and other objects, etc.,.

But, I am not sure, how do we transport our collaboration objects from Dev to Quality system.

Please throw some hints on tranport mechanism that needs to be considered for transporting cFolder.

Hi Kumar,

In cFolders, collaborations , folders, BOMs, Documents, ECNs all are master data.

Could you please explain what you want to transport frm dev to QA?

Agree with Aby. These are not config and therefore not transportable. The objects are always recreated in DEV, QA and PROD systems. I have seen rare instances where a client copy is done, from DEV to QA (but obviously never to PROD) for training or user testing purposes. However, this causes issues when BOM's, materials, docs etc that have already been transfered to cFolders from R/3.
