SAp GUI not able to start in Windows VISTA

after installing GUI on windows VISTA, unable to execute, give error cannot start the program.

Ask you desktop support to enable this to get executed in DEP(data execution prevention) under system settings..

I assume this is GUI 7.10. What patch level? Also you could try running the NwCheckWorkstation.exe located under C:\Program Files\SAP\SapSetup\setup (default location) This will check the installation of the SAP GUI. Does that report any errors?
