Error while creating Sales order

Hi Experts,

While trying to save a Sales order using order type ZOR(Standard order), I got an error :

Error determining posting period,Info structure S008, variant Z4, RC 3.

I have search the similar tread and got one solution that I need to extend the fiscal year variant Z4.

But I want to know why this error occured? In my sales order, I fill in the delivery date in 2012 and for fiscal year variant Z4, I haven't extend it to 2012. Is this the reason?

Hi Chris,

Extend the posting periods upto 2012 in OB52 transaction and lets try and see.

It looks very diff.
