Question about wich user is used by MaxDb for Backup

Hi guys,

I have one problem with backup on one of my systems.

System that have problem is SRM 5.0 with database MaxDB 7.6.

I tried to schedule one database backup from TX DB13 but I got errors like this.

3,Data backup failed

1,Backupmedium #1 (
10.2.3.7\backuphc\arum\R01_onlinefull) access denied [5]

My question is about user with who MaxDB database perform the backup?

Backup is performed somewhere in network and on backup server there exist user sapserviceR01 that have write permissions in respective directory (backuphc\arum). Is this the right user that is used by MaxDB, or is used user R01ADM use?

Check under which user "kernel.exe" is running (in the task manager) - or check the services.

If this is "local system" you'll need to create a user, assign it to the service and restart the database (and x_server).
