Can anybody share with me the guide for Adapter Engine Message archiving for PI 7.1

It is the almost same as it was for earlier version(s)......did you checked how it was done earlier?

or access the following address from your browser: http://<host>:<port>/DataArchivingService/DAS

Hello,

I have configured all the steps for message archiving in adapter engine like configuration in DAS administrator and then scheduled archive job in Runtime Workbench.

But my messages are not getting archived i.e i cannot see any archived messages in the directory created on the Application server also the Logs in Runtime Workbench shows 0 messages archived.

Can anybody tell me am I missing any configuration step?

HI,

Have you added the interface for archiving in SXMB_ADM ->"Define Interfaces for Archiving and Retention Periods".

Also Check the retention periods. Only messages for which retention period is over can be archived.

Refer sapnote_0000872388 for troubleshooting archiving and deletion.

Use this link to remove messages from Adapter engine.
