Follow-On document PR created without approval.

Hello Experts,

We face a peculiar situation in SRM 4.0 .

While creating SC , when the SCM keeps the SC on hold and make the necessary changes and order the SC .

The followon document is created without approval. We have 1step approval

When i investigate ,

There is no work item triggered for the work flow.

There is no work item in the approval inbox.

But , the status of the SC is showing - Awaiting approval with followon document PR created.

Can you advise on this .

Hi Ram,

please check in the BBP_PD which workflow was triggered. I suppose that this was the zero step approval, and this is the reason why the follow-on document was automatically created. In this case check/redefine the start conditions in order that

indeed the one-step approval is started.

It's nearly impossible that the SC generates the follow-on document without as the event "setreleased" (which comes from the workflow) triggers the SC transfer.

Hello Peter,

I have checked in BBP_PD . it has triggered the WS10000276 (one - step approval) task .

The workitem number was not generated for this SC , so this was not in approver queue but staus is showing - Awaiting approval with agent assigned and followon document created.

When i checked the same scenario its working fine in Quality system .

This is why i called it as Peculiar situation.

Ok, I see. In this case we'd better to get checked this thread by a WFL expert.
