hi,

first of all, is it possible to transport users from QAS -> PRD

we are hving 50 users in QAS server, now we have to create those users in the PRD as well.

Do we have to create those set of users in the PRD server, or else can we do a transport. (users in the QAS to PRD)

what is the transaction code that we can use!

thanks

Hi,

I would see security issues, too.

Nevertheless, technically it is possible to export ALL QAS users (incl. authorizations and passwords) with transaction SCC8 (profile SAP_USER) and import them into the PROD system. That would overwrite ALL OLD prod users. It is definitely NOT possible to merge existing PROD users with newly imported ones. So, feasibility depends on what you want to do.

With CUA it wouldn't be a problem, of corse...

Dirk

Hi,

You should not do that. Because In production you have to create users as per the number of license you have and that too depend upon type of users i.e. limited users and professional users.

So, you should create users in production system separately as per your user license.

Thanks

Hi,

This could create security issues. And I am not even sure its doable.

You can use transaction su10 to create multiple users at one time.
