Auto generation of lot for inspection type 16

Dear Sir,

I mapped stability studies of some material through QST01 T-code and scheduled it through IP10. Till last month all is working well and lot is generated on its due date. But since last one month I face a problem that inspection lot with inspection type 16 is not generated auto through the background processing by IP10. For generating the inspection lot every time i need to go to IP10 just do save the scheduling and lot is generated.

I am not able to judge why suddenly this happens?

Hi ,

Please check if you have given completion requirement tick. If so than UD of previous inspection lot must be done than only new

inspection lot will get created.

did you check if there was a background job for IP30 - for automatic scheduling. may be the job would have stopped or valid end date would have expired. check SM37.

Ya i have checked the backgroung processing in IP30 and it is marked with "N" for the call mode which says as

N = Run transaction in background.

Can you please tell me why suddenly auto lot generation is not working?
