unable to start sap

Hi All,

I was trying to apply BI Content through saint on a stand alone PC while applying patch due to power flactuations system got shutdown. After some some i tired to start SAP iam unable to start and the system is getting automatically stop. Can any one please help on this issue.

OS: w2k

database: oracle

Hi DSS

Please start database server services (Start>Run > Services.msc >> Start your database service manually and change prperties as automatic).

As you are trying to apply apply BI Content in server, then you need to check JAVA version on your sysem and update JAVA_HOME system enviromental variable in my computer (My computer > Priperties >> Advance >> Startup and Recovery >> Enviromental Variable >> System Variables >> Add new JAVA_HOME parameter with path for installed Java JDK) and also check server IP address and host name in host file

Then try to restart your server.

I agree with the post about starting the database manually.

You may find that it is waiting for recovery.
