com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: ComponentUsag

Hi All,

I have created some homepage for portal with the help of Homepage Framework , to arrange some in-house customised application on the portal screen.

U get the following error in production only.

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: ComponentUsage(FPMConfigurationUsage): Active component must exist when getting interface controller. (Hint: Have you forgotten to create it with createComponent()? Should the lifecycle control of the component usage be "createOnDemand"?

Have noticed this error for the all the overview pages designed , even for standard ESS and MSS also.

Please help.

For ESS and MSS application to owrk fine u need to have user id maintianed in teh ERP system. Your user id should be same as the portal log in user id.

Secondly make sure all your JCO connections are working properly.

The JCO Connections are working fine , so also user also i have checked.

Would like to mention the system is fully customised inhouse development which is just to be displayed in portal using Portal Home Page Framework.

And also would like to mention , this error doesnt comes all the time. Only some times it comes for any and all users.

Not any definite pattern has been observed for the error to come.
