I have LDAP as auth for requestors. Yesterday, I could login using my LDAP credentials...today, authentication failure. The error returned in the sys log is:
"ERROR Failed to log in jz0p5r...com.virsa.ae.service.umi.AuthenticationFailureException: Error getting directory context
at com.virsa.ae.service.umi.ldap.LDAPAuthenticator.authenticate(LDAPAuthenticator.java:321)
has anyone seen this?
Hi Jack,
This could be an issue with your LDAP field mapping. Make sure the Object Class has * in field mapping.
In the LDAP connector, You need to maintain the whole path in "User Path" field as per your directory structure.
Kindly drill down to your directory structure till you cannot find the LDAP User Id and provide the same path in the 'User Path' field.
Best Regards,
Sirish Gullapalli.

I found the issue...seems as thou the LDAP was refusing the pwd because it had been wrong too many times....unfortunately, I could still log into the network so I didn't know that....there is an issue with the LDAP config.
