Some question in SNP

Hi All:

I am new to SNP and am trying to understand the concept so that I could give a demo on Capacity Leveling with Heuristics planning in a few days.

I implemented the DP for my company and we have 1 PA for each business. So we have 3 PA and their associated Planning Books and DataViews.

Now for one specific business I have a simple task of creating a resource in SNP and release the forecast from DP for on material and just do the capacity leveling.

After I read the SNP documentation I have a few questions pl.

1. Will there be one SNP PA for multiple business or will there be one SNP for each DP PA?

2. If you look at the transaction /SAPAPO/MC90 which is to release forecast from DP to SNP, you can mention the source PA but do not have a target PA.

Pl. help.

Hi Narayanan,

You can have multiple PA or one single PA in SNP. But you will have only one active version (000) and other Simulation version. And thats why you see only terget planning version (Active/Simulation).
