Swaping of material pricing ...NOT the material in line item of s. order

Hi all ,

Requirement :

In sales order ...suppose a sales order has created with Material A . Now bizz wants to swap that material to Material B . But in line item finally , It will show MAterial A but in pricing it will pick Material B 's value .

How is it possible ...

Hi

Goto item level for material A-->condition tab.

Click on UPDATE button there, and carry out new pricing.

Like MT said , this is not possible. Instead If you wanted to say "finally , It will show Material B but in pricing it will pick Material A 's value .", then it is possible. In the sales order user exit under Check_VBAP you can write code not to reprice , when the Material / Material Version is changed and to retain the initial prices.

As per my understanding, No this is not possible.

You are saying that there is no difference between material A and B.

And the two price applicable on one material because you are not changing the material. You want the another price will applicable on the same material.

Can you please explain how business is doing it in the scenerio.
