Hi,

My Customer has a R/3 4.6C System (non unicode) and using the following languages: English, Japanese

We are planning to upgrade as follows:

Source System :

-

R/3 4.6C

SQL Server 2000 SP4

Non-Unicode

(using English, Japanese)

Target System :

-

SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 including EHP4 SR1

SQL Server 2005 SP3

Non-Unicode

(English, Japanese)

Basically we are planning to perform a Non-Unicode Upgrade.

Is it possible to do a Non Unicode Upgrade to

SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 including EHP4 SR1

with (Japanese and English).

Best Regards

Hi Raghunahth,

please have a look at SAP note 1322715 point 6).

Single code page systems are still supported in SAP ERP 6.0 with restrictions mentioned in that note.

Yes, Non Unicode Upgrade was possible. ( only ABAP Stack)

and decided to defer until a business need for the JAVA stack forces the issue
