0ORGUNIT_ATTR Enhancement

hi ,

I have enhanced the 0ORGUNIT_ATTR datasource to bring in chief position of the org unit. the data is coming when I am running the extractor in RSA3 but no data is coming for the enhanced field in BW. There is nothing wrong with the enhancement process as I have done many enhancements before this but this issue never happened.Its a new source system which we have connected to existing BW dev system. Please advice.

0ORGUNIT_ATTR is time dependent datasource. If you check 'Update' tab of the infopackage, there is 'Start Date' and 'End Date', that restrict data from R/3... So, I suggest you to check those dates

How did you see those authorization issues?? I have a similar problem with the Profit Center.

You need to use the trace tool (transaction ST01) on R/3 to see those errors:

Activate the trace in R/3 for background user (for example ADMDTLOAD etc).

Trigger the job from BW (Execute infopackage)

Stop trace when job finishes.

Check logs.

It sounds as though the code which is supposed to fill the field is not working, Try running RSA3 in Debug mode to find out why.

Hi,

Follow the bellow steps:

1. Check the filed is under 'Selection' Column or not.

2. Check the Enhance code.

3. Check the data in RSA3.

4. Replicate the data source in BI side.

5. Schedule the Infopakcage and DTP.

Hi..I have done everything..data is coming for that field when i run the extractor..but its not coming in BW..I can see all data in PSA but the enhanced field is blank..

Thats why I was wondering if this is some auth issue? not sure

yes..the enhanced field is available in BW but no data for that field

Are you not getting data in PSA also?
