can anyone provide sample code for calling external webservices which r developed in java as i am using sap 4.7 version.
please help me out by giving some code

Hi,
SAP systems until 6.4 do not support web services. You can of course make a manual HTTP call using ICM after forming the SOAP body completely yourself by calling a HTTP type RFC if you really need to do it, but this is not the standard way.
