How to Upload stock when plant and stoarge loc are warehouse managed

Hello,

Now we are going to create new plant and storage location ( going for new rollout).

The plant A001 and storage location S001 are warehouse number assigned. Now we want to Upload stock in Plant A001 and storage loc S001.

How to upload WM related entries, how will system will create TR and TO ? bcz i know only upload through 561 movement type.

What is the simple process, to upload stock when plant and storage locations are warehouse managed?

Collect stock figures with all required fields in Excel files - one for IM and another for WM. The file for WM will form the basis for your TO creation after stock upload. So accuracy and timing is essential.

Steps to upload:

- Upload IM stocks using 561 movement type. This will (depending on your configuration) not create any TR or TO. All uploaded stock will be posted to storage type 998.

- Process transaction LT01 to move stock from 998 to the actual storage types and bins. Select the immediate TO confirmation indicator.

Both these steps are usually done by LSMW and require several dry runs depending on the size of the project.
