We are considering the introduction of the records storage facility using bar codes. We now have scanners wire connected to the station booking, but we want to introduce the wireless form. Could someone give us the solution that you use on a daily basis and are proven.

Check whether your barcode scanner can use the RF(radio frequency). if yes then its worth implementing SAP WM with RF

Your question lacks essential details other than the fact that you wish to introduce wireless barcode scanning.

Assuming that you are using SAP, there could be two possiblities - you use SAP WM or not.

In both scenarios it is possible to use Handheld (wireless) barcode scanners.

This ofcourse requires a complete Hardware setup to enable your facility with WiFi access. Along with this there are Software considerations as well.
