Sales BOM

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement in which we need to CIF a sales BOM from R/3 to SCM 7.0 ... We transferred it using SNP PDS as suggested but when we go into SCM system and see the PDS transferred then it only contains The header material and not the Components.

We need to convert SNP PDS to DP PDS and use it in " Add BOM Information" in POS so that we can see the dependent demand. Can someone please help in finding out the reason as to why the components don't showup in PDS..

Hi Gaurav,

Yes, the BOM is Active.. i believe it has something to do with Sales BOM, as Production BOM gets transferred along with its components. Is there anyone who has actually been able to transfer Sales BOM as I am not sure if that is even possible.

Hi Manas,

Can you check if the BOM is in active status 1 in the BOM header in R3. If not then make it active status 1 and CIF it again under SNP PDS.
