Hi Experts,
When i am trying to take the backup of our quality system it alway's termintates with error. I am taking backup using BRTOOLS.
error message:----
BR0278E Command output of 'LANG=C dd obs=1024k bs=1024k if=/oracle/DCQ/sapdata5/dcp_38/dcp.data38 LANG=C rsh dicisap2 -l root /bin/sh -c "'LANG=C dd ibs=1024k
BR0279E Return code from 'LANG=C dd obs=1024k bs=1024k if=/oracle/DCQ/sapdata5/dcp_38/dcp.data38 LANG=C rsh dicisap2 -l root /bin/sh -c "'LANG=C dd ibs=1024k
BR0222E Copying /oracle/DCQ/sapdata5/dcp_38/dcp.data38 to/from /dev/rmt0.1 failed due to previous errors
Any body can help me in this issue.
My Environment:-
ECC6.0
ORACLE-10.2.0.2.0
IBM--AIX-5.0

You have a configuration problem with the profile init<SID>.sap
Go to the profile and check the recommended parameters for dd for you OS

Hi Vijay,
Paste the contents of the latest .afd file generated which you can find in /oracle/<SID>/sapbackup.
Also check the permission of the folder where you are taking the backup, it should have full permission to the user ora<SID>.
