I got this exceptoin when executing standart form:
Adobe document services error: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport : (100101)

Hi Ale,
Seems to be ADS is not configured.
Check the connection in SM59.
Thanks and regrads,

Hi Guys,
This is surprising so many people faced (and are facing) this issue. I'm the latest on the block ... I've gone through all the configuration steps & testing steps. But still I'm facing the same problems.
To summarize w.r.t to the Note 944221 (Troubleshooting if problems occur in forms processing) & http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/37/504b8cbc2848a494facfdc09a359b1/frameset.htm, I've:
1. successfully created & tested the RFC destination using SM59 user ADSUser.
2. obvisouly created system user ADSUser and service user ADS_Agent.
3. done required config in Visual Admin.
I get stuck at the logon window which pops up say when running prorgam 'FP_TEST_00'. Even after entering correct password for ADSUser, it does not get through. And after 3 unsucessful attempts this user gets lock J2EE UME but not in SAP. (In Visual Admin UME, the 'No password change is required' checkbox is checked).
Does anyone one have solution for this?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
-Vaibhav.
Hi,
Please tell me what you see from the following steps..
Go to your ECC 6.0 box and go to t-code smicm
Then click GOTO-->services
The http service must be active there.
The acutal problem causing this is the http port of the ECC WAS. When we test the connection in Sm59 we get the "tick" symbol at the bottom telling us that the connection is good. But actually the test in SM59 should go a new page and say ok and with connection details.
We have to make sure that the http port for the WAS is active and running.
Eg say:
Go to Smicm and then GOTO-->Parameters in the top menu.
Check for the http port there.. say for example 8000
then try http://server:8000 and see what hapeens you must get the prompt for login information into the WAS. otherwise either your WAS is not active or your http service is not active.
For the http port activation contact the basis guy and tell him to activate the http service.
Let me know what happens.
Award points if helpfull.
Hi Ramesh,
Thanks a lot for the reply!
I checked the HTTP service in SMICM and it shows active.
In SM59 When I test the service, I get a popup asking accept cookies from server ... After aceepting all cookies, I get HTTP response code as 200, Status test OK, duration as 10114 ms.
When I open <myserver>:8003 in browser I get a message 503 Service not available.
<i>Error: -6
Version: 7000
Component: J2EE Server
Date/Time: Fri Dec 08 00:41:58 2006
Module: http_j2ee.c
Line: 818
Server: sapn4s_SC5_03
Error Tag:
Detail: Cannot reach external Application Server on localhost:50300</i>
Do you think the problem is here?
Thanks again. Unfortunately I'm unable to give you points (is it becuase I'm not the owner??? In that case I can open another thread for further querires and reward you )
Regards,
-Vaibhav.
