Special Request - Product ID field in Wizard & Simplified Forms

Hi! I want to use the specal request function to purchase direct material using the Wizardand Simplified mode. However, I found that the product id field is not available. Is there a way display the product id field for data entry just like the Extended Form without 'repairing' SAP code?

Hi! Resolved the problem. The Internal Goods/Services is indeed available in SRM4 and was hidden by codings in the UI BADI. Thanks!

You meant you wanted to use "Describe Requirement" to achieve direct material ordering? But you could have ordered direct material through "order internal goods/services". Is there a special reason for that requirement?

Hi Jay,

There is no 'Internal Goods/Services' in my client's system. In our own internal system on SRM7, I do see that but not on my client's system which is no SRM4 and I am not sure whether there were customisation around that. Do you know whether this function is available in SRM4 or even 5?
