Hi guys,
I have a web dynpro application with an ALV table.
The user can press the standard Export button to download the figures to Excel.
Unfortunatly always the English decimal separator '.' (dot) is taken (thought the user has a German Excel frontend
and is expecting a comma as the separator here).
Furthermore the numeric figures marked as text columns.
Means you cannot use the field for further calculations.
Sure, there would be an option to convert each column later into value fileds.
But this is not convenient for the users.
Any idea to get around her ?
Are you facing the same problem ?
We are on 7.1 SP 5.
Thank you !
regards
Paul
Try different setting in transaction /nSU3 TAB Defaults that is similar to SU01.
You can set numeric and date formats.
