Issues after adding a server node in config tool

Hi All,

I have added a server node in the config tool as below

1. Enter the config toll and turned on the safe mode

2. server ->add server node (with default values like 1024 max heap memory)

3. Restarted the server

As long as the server is in the safe mode, we did not face issues.

But after two days, I have turned off the safe mode and we are not able to send any messages with the below error

"No service user name found for Integration Server is.00.hostname"

Note: when I have deleted the extra node which I have added, then everything looks fine.

Please let me know if we need to do any post steps after adding the extra server node ?

I could not find any detailed documentation on this, your help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

This steps can solve your issue:

1. Log on to the J2EE Visual Administrator as an administrator.

2. Choose your new server node

2. Choose Services -> SLD Data Supplier.DMINISTRATOR must be mapped

3. Click with the quick info text Assign User Groups to Roles.

Thank you, the issue resolved as per ur steps.

But I am curious to know that where did all these steps documented ? I mean In which sap link ? I have searched in help.sap.com but could not find any where...

Just would like to know for my information.

Hi Narrendra,

Login the configtool and goto service SLDDATASUPPLIER of the new node which should contain the similar input . which is present in Previously node of configtool which is working properly.
