SRM MDM 3.0 - 500 internal server error

Former Member

Hello,

We've setup another SRM-MDM 3.0 repository for an already working SRM MDM 3.0 installation. The repository has been filled with SRM MDM 2.0 data extracted from an active SRM MDM 2.0 installation and imported in the new SRM MDM 3.0 repository.

Up on using the SRM MDM 3.0 via SRM we get the following error:

[Screen 1|http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/2852/srmmdm30500internalserv.jpg]

[Screen 2|http://img12.yfrog.com/img12/2852/srmmdm30500internalserv.jpg]

The errors are: '500 internal server error, java.lang.NullPointerException'

- Other MDM repositories on the same installation do work properly with the same SRM isntallation

Is there a transaction where we can find more details / logs on the above error? Anybody has any idea what could be the cause of the above error? Every input is very much welcome.

Kind regards,

Tim

From the description of Java error it appears you are missing entried in NamedSearch lookup.

Try to create the namedsearch in SRM MDM 3.0 similar to that in SRM MDM 2.0 and see if it works. You should be able to do it from MDM Data Manager. If you need the name of named search, lookup the WebService definition call structure in SRM.

Hello 'SRMUSER123',

Thanks for your response. We've tried it but it didn't work. We feel the repository is not working since the structure is MDM 2.0 like (direct archive / unarchive). Currently we're creating a new MDM 3.0 structure and we'll load our data into that structure. Thanks for your inputs anyhow.

Kind regards,

Tim
