Which is the advisable distribution of the oracle files (redologs, control files, archive log). There are mirrorlog and origlog, not?

MirrorlogA and MirrorlogB are the redolog online and origlogA and origlogB are the redolog offline? It´s right this?

More thanks

Just to clarify.

oraarch -> online redo logs= archive logfile

Oraarch are where the 'offline' redos are stored or wherever the init<sid>.ora paramter log_archive_dest is pointing at.

As for the question split them on separate disks, you do not want IO contention....really slow things down...

In best case you have all of them on a separate disk (not partition!).

No, they are all online redo logs. The "offline" redo logs are stored in oraarch.
