I have been working as an ABAPer for 2 years.
Recently, I want to apply a position of SRM junior consultant.
This is really a difficult desition.
I appreciate if you can give me some advice.
How about SRM application's prospects in China?
Or continue to be an ABAPer?
Thank you very much!
Hi,
Personal opinion
We have southands of exoerienced ABAP developers, ECC consultants in China , and more learning it in the University.
But we have much fewer good SRM consultant with ABAP programing experience .
Being a senior consultant needs time ,cooking either . But we would perfer delicate fine dining .
Have a nice day and wish you a wonderful future .

Although I can't very well comment on the prospects of SRM in China, I don't see a strict conflict between being an ABAPer and getting into the application of SRM. On the contrary, I think your ABAP skill could compliment your future SRM knowledge if that's the direction you are heading. Good luck.
