Error in transport system after cluster reboot

Former Member

Hi All,

after a cluster reboot (Windows Server 2003, SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 X2, SQL-Server 2005) we got the following errors:

TMS Configuration is not consistent.

Going on the transport host (domain controller) of the system and checking the roll out of the configuration to all systems we got the next error: Transport Control Program has to be configured.

So we opened the Transport Host System in STMS, went to tp transport tool and test the transport tool. The shown error is: Profile Version xx is invalid. The step suggested by the system-help is to roll out the TMS configuration again but this step didn't work because of the above error.

Is there any solution or have we to delete the configuration and start from scretch?

Thanks in advance

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

Better you delete the existing TMS and reconfigure it and then distribute it.

Hi

Don't delete the current TMS straight away.

Check all the RFC's b/w your systems in landscape. Check whether those RFC's are working fine or not.

If it's a H/w Cluster check host entries are maintiained properly. Do all the three check in stms.

Hope it should solve the problem.
