SAP WebAS 6.40 (Java) - Restricting number of sessions

Hi,

My company is using SAP WebAS 6.40 (Java) and there was this requirement to only allow single session access to user, eg. user not allowed to open 2 or more sessions. I am searching the web but unable to find any info on how to do this.

Is there any capability to restrict number of login session in SAP WebAS 6.40? Please help.

Hello,

use profile parameter rdisp/max_alt_modes

you can set this parameter in RZ10 (this requires server restart) or you can use rz11 (temporary, restart not required).
