add new field in customer master data

Hi Gurus

I have one problem. My Clint requirement is they want customeru2019s Building No, Floor, Room No, Marital Status etc information in customer muster general data field.

I find all this in u201Csubgroup List u201C(Financial Accounting >Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable>Define Account Groups with Screen Layout)

But I canu2019t add those fields in customer master data.

How can I add those fields in master data? Please help.

Hi,

Display / Hide is a option at the Account Group level.

To enable it for a account group, go to below IMG path.

Logistics - General / Business Partner / Customers / Control / Define Account Groups and Field Selection for Customers

Double click on relevant account group.

Double Click on "General data" field under "Field status" section

Double Click on "Address" section under "Select Group" section

Press "Page Down" to scroll down in the window.

Select "Opt. entry" under "Buildings", "Floor", "Room number", "Marital status" fields

Save

Now go back to customer master using XD02 or VD02 transaction

You should be able to see those fields enabled.

Hi,

No need to add new fileds.its already ther .but the only you need to do is make the required filed as "required entry"

In Side Account group. you will be having options Like"Supress" "Required entry" "Optional entry" and Finally "Display.

As per your required fields select radio button as "Required entry" and Save

All the required fields will reflects in customer master.
