Hi,
When we try to access soap handler url :
http://pdcntwr.wipro.com:8000/sap/bc/soap/rfc
it gives the below error :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
- <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.
org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.
org/soap/encoding/">
- <SOAP-ENV:Body>
- <SOAP-ENV:Fault>
<faultcode>SOAP-ENV:Server</faultcode>
<faultstring>Internal Server Error</faultstring>
<detail>SoapDoc::Init: Cannot set inout buffer</detail>
</SOAP-ENV:Fault>
</SOAP-ENV:Body>
</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
SoapDoc::Init: Cannot set inout buffer
What does this error mean and how do we resolve it ?
Thanks and Regards,
Youvraj

hello all together,
i'm facing the same problem when i'm calling the service /default_host/sap/bc/soap/rfc.
It's seems to be a configuration problem in the ICM but i don't have an idea how to configure
this thing or what i have to configure that i get this thing running.
<SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
<SOAP-ENV:Body>
<SOAP-ENV:Fault>
<faultcode>SOAP-ENV:Server</faultcode>
<faultstring>Internal Server Error</faultstring>
<detail>SoapDoc::Init: Cannot set inout buffer</detail>
</SOAP-ENV:Fault>
</SOAP-ENV:Body>
</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>

Hey guys,
I have the same error message, although there is a little different behaviour. I call a SOAP webservice within flex and I get data back from the SAP Server, but the problem is that the data are not complete. In some rows there are values missing. If I have a look at the HTTP Headers of the request I see same error message that all of you have.
Any suggestions where to start looking for a solution?
Thanks for any advice,
Mane
Hello,
why are you trying to call the soap handler directly?
=> What do you expect when calling it?
