1. Solution by manually deleting two SECSTORE entries (as of Release 7.00):
Call transaction SECSTORE.
Choose "Execute" (F8).
In the entries that are displayed, delete the entry /HMAC_INDEP/RFC_INTERNAL_TICKET_4_TRUSTED_SYSTEM if it is marked with a red traffic light.
In the entries that are displayed, delete the entry /HMAC_INDEP/RFC_EXTERNAL_TICKET_4_TRUSTED_SYSTEM if it is marked with a red traffic light.
In transaction SE37, execute the function module RFC_PING with the destination NONE. If the system displays an error message, execute the function module RFC_PING again; the error message cannot appear a second time in this case.

Hi,
May I know how do u set the authorization?
We have a profile problem here too and the permission to /sapmnt/SID/profile does not seem right, even the owner is changed to root for some reason. Using root, I tried to chmod profile but it says "Permission Denied". Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Most likely you have lost a mount point... check if /sapmnt/<sid>/profile is available

Mohsin, I am taking this example where in QAS refreshed from PRD.
After DB refresh by default your QAS will have PRD profiles at SAP.
you would need to delete all the existing profiles from QAS and bring the active profiles from
RZ10 > utilities > import profiles > Of active servers.
Hope that helps.

From Unix can you access your filesystem /usr/sap/SID/SYS/profile ?
Check the permissions, see also if you can access /sapmnt/SID/profile, because /usr/sap/SID/SYS/profile is normally a softlink to /sapmnt/SID/profile.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Naveed
