Hi All,
we are using in some cases printing via email ( DEVICE = MAIL) to redirect the spool to email instead of printer.
this works fine but we don't have any control on the body of the message.
the spool is converted to PDF and attached to the email,
the email body is empty.
I found oss 311037 which advices to use transaction SPTP and create text MAIL0-> MAIL9 .
I did it but nothing changed .
do you have any idea ?
regards,
Abdellatif
Hi Abdel,
I have exactly the same problem as you had, i.e. I also need to add text to the body of the message.
Did you mange to get it right? Or can anybody else please help?
Thank you in advance

What note 311037 fails to mention is that you must turn on the coversheet for the email printer. The coversheet controls the text in the body of the email and uses the MAILN texts. Also you have to put your MAILN entries into the LOCAL text in SPTP. Note 513352 is an update to the original email printing note.
