Hello,
I need some details on claim management with PS.
I have a Project with service activity 100 Rs . I have converted PR to PO.
Now 100 rs will be in commitment , Then I found that 25 Rs extra will be consumed for that po and now I create a claim thru CLM1 (External Claim).
I click account assignment and provide the WBS details & also PO number item number. Now I approve 25 rupees. later processing close the Notification .
My question is Earlier my commitment was 100 rupees, After 25 rupees extra claim on that PO , will my comitment value get change to 125 ???
or
Claim is just like notification , And will it not affect the actual s/ commitment /budget values??

Going on from your last line - Claim is like a notification which means that it is not a cost collector
So no impact on any costing data
In the PS Claim functionality the next step would be to create the cost collector which is a CO internal order.
