Also if you see in PI forums mostly all of them would be errors / issues.

Hi ,
File Adapter:
File content conversion issues,
If source directory (FTP) down, File cc will not pick up the message, when it trying to send message to Target File directory, if it is down, communication channel will give error.
If you not configured File Adapter it will give error, you can check the configuration through Communication Channel Monitoring.
If you are sending huge data, some time communication channel will not pick up the message. its gives error some times.
JDBC adapter:
If you not installed drivers perfectly, JDBC adapter will not work properly. The driver details and connection details not correct it will give error.
The SQL queries what you have written in Sender CC should be valid, other wise its will not work.
The data base always should be available. Other wise when Adapter sends/Reds data if DB down CC will show the error.
IDoc adapter:
The RFC destination and port details should be configured perfectly.
If its not correct IDoc will not posted to SAP ECC.
Soap ADAPTER:
The Target URL path should be correct, if configurations wrong it gives error.
Finally most off the communication channel faces cache issues; using SXI_CACHE you can refresh the cache.
What I mentioned errors are basic, when you work with different scenarios then u will get to know the errors and how to solve.

Raj
