Integration with Project Systems

Hi,

Shall any one work in PS(Project Systems)- DMS implementation. I worked in MM , FI , HR of DMs area. Is any thing standard available for PS- DMS.

Some places where integration could be useful

Projects Area

1) Attaching in Statement of Work for the project , by creating a seperate document type

2) Project planning ducuments could be attached.

3) Risk management plans could be linked using dir

Engineering Area

1) Engineering Drawings for redlining and manufacturing

Production

1)Work instructions for the production as to how products would be manufactured

Quality

Safety related documentsand origina certificates

Purchasing

Procurement related specifications in terms of drawings , shipping instructions

Sales

1) Inquiry

2) quotation

3) Contract

Dear Sai Krishna

For PS integration, In DC10, for your document type, define object link for the objects PRPS (WBS Element) & VORGNET (Network)

Then you can attach the DIR to WBS & Network activity in Project.

Thanks for ur info. I want to understand where are all DMs can be utilised in PS. At which functionalities / scenarios.

I want to understand in whcih all scenarios DMs is used in PS. Is there standard way to sort out ?

All scenarios can't be explained in the forum. You can read SAP help on SAP PS. It's knowledge center. Read it & any other books. Then if you have any specific questions, get back with them, & it'll be easy for us to help you.
