IS Mill Activation in ECC 6.0

Hi All,

We have installed ECC 6.0 SR3 system in Win2k3 64 bit system, oracle 10g as database.

We want IS Mill to be activated in this system. Please let us know the procedure so that we can activate it ASAP.

Hi,

You can activate it through SFW5 transaction. But make sure before activating it because once it is activated you cannot revert it back.

Thanks for the quick response....

I need some more clarification on this...

01) Is this to be done in client 000 or can be activated in any of the clients.

02) Only activating from SFW5 suffice the issue i.e activating "BUSSINESS FUNCTION SET"

03) Under this I can see two folders ENTERPRISE_EXTENSIONS & ENTERPRISE_BUSSINESS_FUNCTIONS

Do I Need to activate any of the services under this folder

Souren,

1) It can be activated in any client.

2) Initially Yes but then there might be further dependencies in ENTERPRISE_EXTENSIONS & ENTERPRISE_BUSSINESS_FUNCTIONS

3) You will need to activate ENTERPRISE_EXTENSIONS & ENTERPRISE_BUSSINESS_FUNCTIONS but that request should be coming from the functional team as to what Extensions or Business Functions needs to be switched on.

Thanks ...But we are getting an error while tring to activate the IS mill bussiness function set

After running sfw5 t-code ...one service is showing in "on" status and giving inconsistency error while trying to selet and activate any other fuction set.

The service "Vertragskontokorrent" is in "On" Status on 27.01.2006 which is much ahead of our installation.

Please advice us with a suitable solution

Check the Switch Framework Logs. What message do you see ?

Also try "Check Changes" what message do you see ?

One more thing that I can think of is that the Business Function that you are trying to activate might have a prerequisite that you need to activate first. Try to find that or if you can send any further error detail log that would help.

Hi,

For IS-Mill activation which component are you trying to activate ?

Is there any other solution activated on your system ? If yes, then you cannot activate IS-MILL since only one solution you can activate in system.
