RFx transaction types error: Hierarchy template not assigned to process typ

Hello,

I'm getting the following error upon using certain transaction types for RFx: 'action could not be performed' 'Hierarchy template not assigned to process type.'.

I'm using standard RFx transaction types. 4/7 transaction types work properly. The other 3 standard RFx transaction types result in the above mentioned error.

I've already checked the following:

- Transaction types settings, is there any difference between the working and not working transaction types. There isn't any difference where i can point this issue to.

- Customizing transaction 'Activate Service Procurement', here hierarchy templates are assigned to the particular transaction types. I've tested both HIER_SE and HIER_SRM for the non-working transaction types but they both end up in the same error.

Somebody has any idea what could be the cause of this error? Ideas are very much welcome, it's an SRM 7.0 SP05 system.

What is the action you perform?

Do you create a BID from the POWL?

Hi Sushil,

It doesn't mather whether i create the bid via POWL / SoCo or 'create document -> Bid' it's just the transaction types (standard SAP ones) that don't work.

Yann, I've only worked on the RFx part from SP05. So i couldn't tell you if it did work with SP02.

Try to create an entry in table /SAPPSSRM/HTMP_A (if this is available to you) with content:

process_type = <your process type, e.g. RFPP>

templ_id = HIER_SRM

Then test with creation of RFQ of type RFPP, for example.

Hi T,

Have you found a solution. We are facing the same issue.

We are on SRM7.0 , SP07 . We have activated PPS with the bid decoupled scenario. Suddenly we find that couple of the transaction types do not work for RFx. These were working some days back.

Create Rfx--> Select Rfx type--> Choose a partcular type and  ablank screen is displayed.

I have checked the following things

* checked table /SAPPSSRM/HTMP_A, an entry exist for the required transaction type.

*executed steps in note #1267549

The issue persists . Any pointers are welcome.

but now some notes are not available .sap would have pulled .

Hi Yann,

Good to hear you get the same issue. It's not yet solved, the issue only arises for the following RFx transaction types: RFCR, RFPM, RFPS

I had already looked into these notes and the top note Muthu posted could be interesting but it isn't released yet/anymore.

Hi Tim,

Exactly the same for me.

However, when i first connect to my system, it was only SP2 and working.

The system was refreshed through a backup and now it isn't working anymore...
